Is It Safe to Talk to Strangers Online?

It can be, on an adults-only, moderated platform, if you protect your identity. Most harm on stranger chat sites comes from four things: minors on adult platforms, unmoderated video, oversharing, and moving to unmoderated apps. TalkWithStrangers.club addresses the first two by design; you control the last two.

Safety Myths

"Only careless people get scammed." Scams are designed to fool smart people. "Video calls prove someone is real." Video can be faked or pre-recorded. "If I'm anonymous, nothing can go wrong." Oversharing can still identify you. "Reporting doesn't do anything." Reports are how bad actors are found and removed.
